Caffeine...

I'm realizing this morning that I feel like I have a low level caffeine addiction. It hit me this morning because I knew I didn't have any remaining change in my filing cabinet at work and was scrounging around at home. Cooper asked what I was doing and I told him told him I was looking for some change. He told me he had "monies" in his pirate bank but I couldn't take his "tickets" that Grammy had given him. OK, There used to be a time where it didn't seem like a big deal to rob a quarter out of his bank because every time we take bottles back, he gets the money and usually a couple matchboxes or new toy. When I heard him say that this morning, I made him put his bank back.
After I dropped Cooper off this morning, driving to work I realized that I rip on Meredith all the time for buying coffees but I'm a bit of a hypocrite. I'm sorry for that. Thanks to the sleeping habits of Cosmo, I get between 4-6 hours of broken sleep each night so I've returned to buying tea out of the vending machine at work for that caffeine kick in the morning. Yes, I drink tea but I'm not talking gourmet teas or anything. We're talking cheap ass vending machine, has a hint of gross coffee taste because it's all vended from the same hoses in the machine, tea. Like beer, coffee is not something i ever acquired the taste for. I never learned to like the taste of any beers no matter how many I tried. Anyway, I started it buying it again when I came back to work and can't seem to stop. It's only $.55 but there are mornings where I drink two of them so I am spending like $6 a week / $25 a month. I thought maybe I could get away with just heating up plain water, that maybe it was just a hot drink I needed in the morning to get things going but that didn't work. So...How the heck do you go about quitting this? I know if I don't have the tea, that I'll end up switching to some sort of caffeine loaded soda or something at least until Cosmo gets past waking in the middle of the night to be fed.
